Rental property landscape managementA large part of Boyd Landscaping's business has been taking care of duplex properties around Pitt County. We use the same care for these rental properties that we use at other properties. In addition, Boyd Landscaping offer discounts for long-term contracts and multiple properties.
The charge for the typical duplex like the one pictured is $25 for one side and $40 for an entire building. That's based on a lawn of 3,000-5,000 square feet and a minimal amount of fencing to trim around. We offer a 20 percent discount for annual contracts on rental property. Volume discounts for multiple properties are also available.
The charge for a single-family rental home varies but is based on a $30/hr. rate. Discounts are available with long-term contracts.
Here's what you get for your money: Each time Boyd Landscaping mows your property, we'll also pick up paper and plastic litter rather than shredding it with the mower. We'll pull larger weeds from your shrub and flower beds and spray the remaining weeds with a targeted shot of herbicide. We'll also lightly prune shrubs and trees as needed.
Once mowing is done, we trim using a string trimmer, taking care not to take down your flowers, strip bark from your trees and shrubs or damage your mailbox posts, lamp posts and other structures.
Then, the finishing touches: We put a sharp edge on your driveway, walkway and curb and then blow your pavement, curb and gutter clean.
Boyd Landscaping also treats fire ant mounds and doesn't allow the mounds to build up several inches above the ground and become unsightly and even dangerous.
In addition to regular mowing and related work, we also offer leaf and pine straw raking, storm debris removal and other services such as tree and shrub care, flower and shrub bed installation, grass seeding and sodding, and other services.
Sometimes tenants make flower beds or plant shrubs or trees. Generally, we leave the maintenance of those to the tenants, but we will take care of tasks such as picking up a plastic garbage bag that might blow into a bed or pulling a large weed from the bed before it seeds the rest of the lawn.
